Steve Epting
With a career stretching back to First Comics, Steve Epting made his name with Marvel fans everywhere with an eminent fifty issue run drawing The Avengers in the 1990’s. He also contributed art for X-Factor and the X-Men, as well as Superman and Aquaman at DC Comics. Epting branched out on various Crossgen titles, including co-creating the Eisner nominated pirate saga El Cazador.
Epting returned to Marvel to begin an award winning collaboration with Ed Brubaker on Captain America and The Marvels Project. He then teamed with Jonathan Hickman for a defining run on Fantastic Four, followed by New Avengers.
Epting along with Brubaker co-created the Winter Soldier, the main character from the smash hit movie Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Epting has recently re-teamed with Brubaker on the smash hit Velvet for Image Comics, and provided the art for the relaunch of Batwoman for DC Comics.
